This integration allows the Virtual Assistant to send event data from Facebook Click-to-WhatsApp (CTWA) ads to Meta Conversion API (CAPI). This enables more accurate conversion tracking and optimizes ad campaigns based on real user interaction data.
Before configuring event sending, make sure to request the required data, the Endpoint to which the events should be sent, and the cURLs for each event through a Service Request.
Below, you’ll find the events compatible with Conversion API for Business Messaging (Click-to-WhatsApp) that you can send from Studio to CAPI for campaign tracking and analysis, along with best practices for an effective implementation.

Best Practices
Once you have all the required data, follow these recommendations to ensure a stable integration and accurate event measurement:
Currency and Value: always include both fields (currency and value) in events containing monetary data.
Messaging-Only Events: report only actions that occurred within the WhatsApp conversation (web/app conversions must be sent through other CAPI channels).
Validation: Verify event ingestion in Events Manager corresponding to your dataset_id.
Deduplication: use ctwa_clid as a unique key if necessary.
Error Handling:
If the error error_subcode: 2804132 appears, it means that the dataset_id is not linked to the WABA.
Create or verify the dataset with the correct waba_id, and update the channel configuration.
