The steps to include it are as follows:
- Add a response to an intention: While adding content to the response before the plugin is optional, it's recommended that you do so, keep it short and clear to help contextualize the options displayed.
- Select WhatsApp or Web channel: This complement is exclusive to these channels, so make sure to select this channel.
- Choose the List complement.
-
Fill in the required fields:
- Message title: This space allows you to include a word or phrase that describes the topic of the list that will be displayed. It's not mandatory, but if you decide to add one, keep in mind that if you exceed 40 characters, WhatsApp Web will display it with an ellipsis beyond that limit.
- Message body: Add a text description explaining the list options, without exceeding 1,024 characters.
- Open list button: This is the name of the CTA (call to action) that opens the dropdown list. It should be brief (up to 20 characters), without punctuation or trailing spaces.
-
List items (lines/options): Each interactive list must have between 1 and 10 options. Each line represents an option that the user can select and consists of the following fields:
- Qualification (required): This field allows you to enter a title for the list item with a maximum of 24 characters, including spaces. It cannot contain special characters.
- Description (optional): Up to 72 characters. It will appear below the title and provide a brief explanation of the option.
- Intent it responds to: Select a pre-recorded intent in your content to which this list option will respond.
Total character limit: The entire list must not exceed 4,096 characters.
Key fact: If you plan to use emojis when uploading your list, be sure to check the list of all emojis that are supported and recognized by the platform, and how to add emojis to buttons.
