2. Evaluate whether the synonym is really necessary and does not confuse understanding, affecting other content within your database, e.g., “paying” a bill is not the same as ‘canceling’ a bill. In this case, if the intention is to “pay a bill,” you should add ways of asking with the word cancel bill, but not take them as synonyms.
3. Test in the test chat if the engine does not respond.
4. If you detect that your users repeatedly write words with spelling errors, you can add them as synonyms. An example is the word home banking. If you find forms such as jome bankng or home banquin, add them as synonyms.
5. Add synonyms when dealing with acronyms. Also add words that contain other meanings in their composition, expressions, or some idioms, e.g., “wap” = “WhatsApp,” “APP.”
6. If the virtual assistant already has synonyms registered, we can see what these synonyms are, in which words they are loaded, and the intentions they affect in the Health Check Report. You can request this through the Support Center.
