Key facts for sending WhatsApp message Campaigns with multimedia files via Engage

Before getting started, remember that when sending proactive messages, you use a .csv file in One Time campaigns, where you upload the data of your audience and the variables that you require to arrive in the message. In Recurrent campaigns, you copy the Curl where the fields of the sending variables are found so that your technical team can implement it.
â–¶ Message template content consists of four elements: Header, body text, footer, and buttons.

â–¶ The Header section includes a dropdown menu where you can select the type from the following options:
  • Text
  • Image (JPEG, PNG)
  • Video (MP4, 3GPP)
  • Document (PDF)
  • Location (only available for Marketing templates)
âš Important:
  • Meta must approve all Templates Messages.
  • The media must be in JPEG (images), MP4 (video), and PDF (document) format.
  • The limits on the size of media sent will depend on WhatsApp's policies, which is the channel through which they are sent.
  • In all cases, the links to the multimedia files must be a public URL so that the media you send can be displayed correctly to the user. Read here Best practices: What is a public URL.
