Incorporate the content of PDF files into auto-generated knowledge with Gen AI

By activating the auto-generated knowledge functionality with Generative AI in the Virtual Assistant platform and obtaining information from the links on your website, you can incorporate documents in PDF format. This allows the content of those documents to be integrated into the knowledge base used by your virtual assistant, enhancing its ability to respond accurately to customer inquiries.

▶️ The process is simple, you can upload documents from your computer or via a link.

▶️ There are no limits on the number of PDFs you can upload.

▶️ When uploading from a device, the maximum file size for each document is 10 MB.

▶️ All PDF files with content exceeding one million characters will be automatically split into separate documents, each containing up to 1M characters. This logic preserves the full content of the original file, making both uploading and viewing easier. Each part will appear as an individual file with the following naming format: OriginalName_part_1, OriginalName_part_2, and so on.

▶️ If uploading manually from a device, you can upload multiple PDFs simultaneously, but when using a link, you'll upload them one by one.

▶️ Key requirements for uploading PDF files:

▮ The file must not be encrypted.
▮ It must be free of passwords or protected access.
▮ The name of each PDF file should not exceed 60 characters.
▮ For uploads via a link (URL):
⁕ The link must lead directly to the PDF.
⁕ The document must be publicly accessible without requiring a username or password.
⁕ Use HTTPS for a secure connection.
⁕ Keep the .PDF extension in the file name.
▶️ It is possible to include PDFs that contain Excel-like table structures.
