Add Facebook Messenger as a support channel

It is very easy to add your bot so that it also starts responding from Facebook Messenger.

First, important facts,

  1. In addition to having a Facebook user, you must have a Fan Page associated to your account, which will be requested at the time of creating this channel.
  2. The channel connection must be made with the Facebook fan page administrator account. If the role of this user is subsequently changed or the password is changed from Facebook, the channel will be disconnected and will have to be reconnected.

  1. Enter the channel manager of the My Aivo platform, in the Configurations section.
  2. Create the channel by clicking on the "New" button in the upper left corner.
  3. Complete the fields with the required information: channel name and define that it will be Facebook Messenger.
  4. Then log in to Facebook to select the page you will link. If the user is already logged in to Facebook, the pages associated with that account without logging in will be listed. If the Facebook login window is not displayed, it may be a cache, in which case try to perform the action from an incognito window.
  5. Choose the Fanpage to which you want to associate the channel and then click on Save.
  6. Finally, once created, from the channel configuration, you can edit the channel name, configure the satisfaction survey, enable the use of GDPR, or delete it from your channel list.
