Why is my Facebook Messenger channel not working?

If the Facebook Messenger channel does not work, one of the reasons may be due to the expiration of the token, or because you do not have permission to manage the account.

In order to reverse this situation it is important to make this change.

1- Disconnect the app (Aivo Connector) from the fan page settings. This is done from Facebook, not from our platform

2- Create a new Facebook Messenger channel in the Aivo platform, from "Channels" in the side menu. It is essential that this step is performed by the person who has the administrator permissions of the Facebook page, as it will ask for the access data. 

Important

  1. If the Facebook page has the Two Factor Authentication security feature, the user linking it to Agentbot should be aware of this method, because in the process a code may be requested in addition to the password.
  2. The channel connection must be made with the Facebook fan page administrator's account. If the role of this user is subsequently changed or the password is changed from Facebook, the channel will be disconnected and will have to be reconnected.
