Features of uploading content for your SMS channel

After creating your SMS channel, you can define specific responses for that channel in your knowledge base.

  1. You can include text, emojis, and links in the response your user will receive. 
  2. It is not possible to configure buttons or add multimedia components, such as images or videos. 
  3. It is possible to configure the Transfer complement.

  1. Please note that the message is made up of all the characters you use: letters, numbers, emojis, space bars, line breaks (they are two characters) and special characters.
  2. SMS charges are made per “segment” of characters.
  3. Segments are counted every:
    1. 160 characters, if they do not include emojis, accents, or special characters.
    2. 70 characters, if they contain emojis, accents, or special characters.
  4. SMS will always arrive as a single message to the final recipient.
  5. If you activate the satisfaction survey, any additional SMS messages generated will be counted.
  6. In the Analytics section, you will see each SMS as a single interaction, even if it exceeds the character limit and was sent or received in more than one segment.
