What happens if the bot has GDPR, initial conditions and Satisfaction Survey in asynchronous channels?

☝ If your Virtual Assistant has simultaneous GDPR, initial conditions and Satisfaction Survey, the expected behavior on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram is:

  1. User types something, bot responds with a GDPR acceptance request. Until the user gives consent, he/she cannot start chatting with the bot.
  2. Once the user accepts the GDPR, the user is prompted to select the condition. Until the user selects a condition, he/she will not be able to start chatting with the bot.
  3. Once the user finishes the conversation with the bot, the satisfaction survey will be sent within the appropriate time frame depending on the channel.
  4. The user answers the survey.
  5. The session is closed.

Key fact 👉 If the user chats again, within 24 hours of the last interaction, the GDPR and conditions should not be validated and the bot will continue to respond with the initial condition. On the other hand, if the user chats after 24 hours of the last interaction, the GDPR must be validated again and the condition must be selected.
