XML Node

The XML Node, available in the Messaging Nodes category in Studio, allows you to attach XML files as responses to user queries during a conversation, so users can view or download the document.

⚙ Node configuration
The following fields are required to configure the node:

1) Name (optional): Allows you to customize the node’s name within the flow, replacing the default value.
2) Base 64: Determines how the XML file will be included:
  • False: Enter the XML file URL in the corresponding field. It must be publicly accessible so the bot can display the document.
  • True: Enter the XML file in Base64 format in the field that appears below. When the flow runs, the node will automatically generate a temporary URL to access the file.
✅ Key points
  1. The temporary URL is valid for 1 hour within the bot session and should only be used for the integration.
  2. URLs pointing to files stored on platforms such as Google Drive are not supported.
  3. The URL field supports variables from the msg object using Moustache syntax. For example, it inserts the value of the msg.myParameter variable.

ℹ Keep in mind: If you use this example, you’ll need to add an Inject Node before the XML Node and configure the file URL in its corresponding field.
