Create and configure a WEB channel

In the following tours, you’ll first learn how to create a web channel, and once it’s created, you’ll navigate through each tab to discover how to apply the different settings related to the appearance and overall functionality of your Virtual Assistant’s conversation window.

• Basic: In this section, you’ll define the basic and accessibility settings for the conversation window on your website.
• Advanced: using these options, you’ll add a unique touch by further customizing your virtual assistant’s chat window.
• Satisfaction: here you can set up a satisfaction survey that users will receive at the end of a conversation with your virtual assistant, allowing them to provide feedback.
• Form: this allows you to implement an initial form with the fields you need for your users to fill out.
• FAQs: Enables you to set up frequently asked questions that will appear in the add-ons section of your chat window.  
• Derivation rules: Here you’ll specify in which cases the assistant will redirect your users to a team member for human assistance.
