In order to promote easy access to digital content, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) sets out a series of guidelines to improve the experience of all users.
From Aivo we progressively integrate the model suggested by WCAG 2 overview, in the My Aivo platform to benefit and enhance accessibility, encouraging our customers to consider good practices regarding colors and configurable images.
Learn below the highlighted features.
- Language: the window specifies the language/region that by default the accessibility wizards or screen reader should handle when processing text.
- Message identifier: when browsing through the different bot messages (using the tab key), the accessibility wizard will identify the sender of the selected message indicating whether it is "your message" or a "Bot message".
- Feedback on sent messages: after sending a message, the accessibility wizard is able to indicate that "reply is expected".
- Feedback on received messages: after receiving a message, the wizard is able to indicate that a "new message" was received.
- Other improvements: when using the bot, the web assistant also identifies different elements such as buttons, lists and links, giving a detailed description of how to interact with each of them.
