In the following video, you'll see this month's news flash, a quick look at the improvements and updates to our platforms.

Below, we share a summary of each change, along with direct links to the explanatory articles in our Help Center:

Virtual Assistant

↗ Section(s):

✓ Initial buttons within the chat window: It is now possible to add initial buttons to the chat window and create them from the Basic Settings section of the Web channel. We recommend using a maximum of 3 to 5 buttons, although there is no limit to the number that can be created.

✓ Chat window: A new article has been added explaining the possible ways to end a session in an embedded chat window, with their differences and use cases:

  • $aivo.chat.close() →  Ends the session, deletes the history, and minimizes the window.
  • resetWindow=true in the URL → Ends the session, clears the history, and keeps the window open and visible, ideal for mobile applications where there is no close button.

 📚 Articles:

  1. Enable the start button on your web channel
  2. Ending the Session in Embedded Windows

Live

↗ Section(s):

✓ Send messages: Agents will also be able to send proactive messages to contacts who are not from previous conversations on the platform, allowing them to communicate with potential customers or new users, driving engagement and retention. These contacts are considered temporary and are added solely for that specific message.

✓ Reports > Dashboard :

  • Indicators: The new Average SLA card is displayed in the initial cards.
  • Graphs: The Agents variable is added to the Sessions graph.
  • Summary table: Two new columns are added: Total agents and Abandoned after threshold.

✓ Campaigns > One Time & Recurrents > Templates > Marketing: A confirmation modal is included in the migration process to MM Lite so that eligible accounts can recognize that the migration will apply to all WhatsApp accounts associated with the main Commercial Portfolio ID.

Studio

↗ Section(s):

✓ Nodes > Engageware ASE: Two nodes in the Appointment Scheduling Enterprise category have been updated.

  1. ASE Search Date and Time: A new parameter, “Client Timezone,” has been added to the node properties.
  2. ASE Select Location: The Max Number of locations property, which sets the limit on search results for available locations, has changed its default value to 5. Additionally, the field has been updated from 'select' to 'input', allowing you to manually enter the number of desired locations, with a minimum of 1.

Integrations

↗ Section(s):

✓ Sending Events to Meta Conversion API (CAPI): data from conversations initiated from Facebook ads (Click-to-WhatsApp) can be automatically sent to Meta Conversion API.

  • The purpose of this integration is to measure actual conversions, such as sales or interactions generated from those ads, and optimize advertising campaigns based on the results obtained.
  • The article includes a comprehensive list of events that can be sent to CAPI, along with recommended best practices to ensure a correct and accurate integration process.
